Many business people may eschew Facebook and Twitter, deeming them unimportant. We would argue that they would be wrong to ignore these two sites, but some people do feel that LinkedIn is somehow more professional.
Many business people tend to disregard Facebook, thinking it is for teenagers, or grandparents who want to post or view pictures of their grandkids.
If you think Twitter is just for teenagers and celebrities, think again. Sometimes we are asked to help people with their social media; many think that, for business, LinkedIn may be relevant but Twitter and Facebook are not going to attract clients and therefore not worthy of their attention. They couldn't be more wrong.
One of the more frequent questions that we are asked at Prompt Proofing has to do with certain compound words; should they be written as one word, two separate words or hyphenated?
